Spa Treatments and Services:

 

Asian Acupressure Massage: 1 hour----$70

This is a Chinese acupressure massage utilizing certain acupoints along the jing jin muscle meridians of the body, which is used to promote the circulation of Qi (vital energy) and blood throughout the body. By using static pressure on specific points  relieves pain, is beneficial for acute and chronic ailments, as well as a relaxation from stress and the rigors of daily life. The stimulation of neural pathways to the nervous system will induce improved healing. A gentle method to help the body restore itself at all levels. The Steam Room is available to add warmth to the body and complete the treatment.

 

Sole Revitalization: 1 hour----$70

In this one hour-long session, the feet are treated to a total rejuvenating makeover. Relax as you soak in an essential oil infused Epson-salt bath. Stresses melt away as the calves and feet are stimulated with Asian Acupressure Massage. Special consideration is given to the acupressure points, which release tension in the muscles and tendons. Points in the feet are chosen to increase circulation through the body’s meridian pathways. Your feet will be thankful as their skin is exfoliated and their calluses softened. Acupuncture points around the nail bed, which awaken the senses, are stimulated as the cuticles are nourished and trimmed. Your toenails will be trimmed, cleaned, shaped and finished with a brilliant natural shine. You are invited to bring your own polish if you would like your toenails a particular color. Your feet will look and feel soft, energized and healthy; ready to carry you wherever you want to go.

 

Back to Earth Hot Rock Treatment: 1 hour----$70

This session begins with a 1/2 hour massage that prepares the body for the Hot Rock treatment.  The Hot Rock treatment involves the placing of flat, smooth Kootenay River rocks warmed to treatment temperature on specific acupoints along the jing jin muscle meridians of the body. The energy storage ability of the “Hot Rock” treatment provides a deep warmth in the body that increases circulation and boosts energy levels. To prolong this inner warmth this treatment can be followed with a session in the Steam Room.

 

Kutenai Detoxification Special: 1 hour----$70

Included in this special is a ˝ hour of Acupressure massage that utilizes certain acupoints along the muscle meridians of the body to promote the circulation of Qi (vital energy). With this increased circulation of energy, the blood is also propelled throughout the system at a more efficient rate to relax and calm the mind in preparation for the ˝ hour lymph drainage massage. This session is effective for the draining of toxins from the lymph glands and the rejuvenation the body. The cleansing abilities of the treatment is completed with cleansing the pores of the skin and rejuvenation of the lungs in the Steam Room.

 

Tuina Skin Rolling Massage: 1 hour----$70

This is a full bodywork treatment that focuses on the vertebrae and bilateral to it. Following bilaterally along the vertebrae corresponds to the Zu Tai Yang urinary bladder meridian, which has points along it called the Bei Shu points. These Bei Shu points at specific vertebral height are interconnected to all the organs of the body. By skin rolling on these points it relaxes the fascia layer thereby releasing any superficial tension on the point, which may be causing local stagnation resulting in tense erector muscles of the back.  It then stimulates the point and regulates the organ system. More focus can be spent on any system of the body specified by the client.  This treatment is unique to the individuals needs.  Skin rolling can also be used on the face or anywhere on the body to increase circulation for the disappearance of wrinkles and scars.

 

Big Mountain Deep Tissue Massage: 1 hour----$70

Aggressive deep tissue sports massage – which is a perfect ending after a day of strenuous activity or a good preparation for a planned day of strenuous activities. This treatment works deep into each layer of muscles, releasing adhesions, restoring circulation and hydrating the dry, fibrous tissues. People with chronic pain, low range of movement, scar tissue & adhesions due to old injuries find, in this treatment, great benefits & release. The Steam Room will further relax add a deep warmth to the body.

 

The Blaylock: 3 hour----$180

Enjoy the classic luxury of this 3 hour full body treatment. This package begins with a traditional scalp regenerative massage while enjoying a epsom salt hand and foot bath. Followed by a full body Asian Acupressure Massage spending extra time on the reflex points of the ears, hands and feet. Next is the placing of smooth Kootenay River Hot Rocks on systemic release points selected to suit the individual's needs in order to permeate deep levels in the body. A stimulating percussion session is included to revitalize the central nervous system and balance the body's internal homeostasis. Completing this session is a green tea facial to clean as astringe the pores.  For the finishing touch warm the body as well as clean and rejuvenate the lungs with a full session in the steam room.

 

COMBINATION HERBAL MASSAGE TREATMENTS:

 

Invigorating Ginger Scalp Massage: ˝ hour----$50

This treatment is designed for individuals who hold tension in their scalp, which may result in headaches, stressed eyes and stiff neck.  Or, for those who may have premature thinning of their hair, or dermatological conditions such as patch balding. With the application of warmed essential oils infused with ginger the hair follicles are stimulated promoting growth of healthy hair and releasing the tensions in the scalp. This session is completed with a light massage of the neck and shoulders 

 

Green Tea Facial and Massage: 1 hour----$70

A stimulation of the pores to promote the release of toxins followed by acupressure massage of the head, face, neck and shoulders. The antioxidant properties of the green tea help to slow the aging process.  As well, the diaphoretic aspects of the green tea promotes the release of toxins, and then the astringing qualities of the tea tightens the pores helping to develop resistance of the skin against the invasion of free radicals. This treatment eases wrinkles, releases tensions, calms the mind and brightens the eyes.

 

The Kokanee Exfoliation Message: 1 hour----$85

Enjoy a replenishing technique that has been used in Spa's around the world including Thailand and Bali.  By using a special formula of crushed rice and tropical oils, this treatment scrubs off impurities and dead skin cells.  Meanwhile moisturizing and nourishing dry lifeless tissue to add that beautiful luster of health.  Followed by a Green Tea Towel bath to astringe the pores.  After the message enjoy the warmth of the steam room to further invigorate and cleanse the pores.

 

The Monashee: 1 ˝ hours----$95

Soothe your eyes with diffused chamomile flowers, and allow your face to be permeated with the chamomile calmness.  Condition your skin with a purifying and nourishing avocado/oatmeal facial clay masque, and let the clay’s natural earth properties take your mind to a time when things were simpler.  The skin is left feeling soft and clean from the purging of excess dirt and oil, and the body relaxed from the full body massage.

 

The Valhalla: 1 1/2 hour----$95

Like the dynamic mountains themselves this complete facial/ bodywork package will bring you to new heights of energy and wellness. The Valhalla includes the Green Tea Facial to cleanse and astringe the pores.  The antioxidant properties of the Green Tea helps to slow the aging process by ridding the body of free radicals. The full body massage also assists in the maintenance of youthful vitality by focusing on the reflex points of the hands and feet.  A session in the Steam Room will pleasantly complete this body facial treatment.
